CSMIC VR · Your information
Data deletion
Updated: 15 October 2026
Ask us to delete or correct personal information, or remove CSMIC VR data stored on your headset.
Send a request
Email contact@csmic.tech. You can use the subject “CSMICVR data deletion request”, but no special wording is required. You do not need to sign in or create an account.
Tell us what you would like deleted or corrected and whether it concerns the app, website or previous correspondence. If useful, include the email address used to contact us and approximate dates. Please send only what is needed to identify the relevant information.
Do not send passwords, payment details or identity documents. If we need more information to confirm that the request relates to you, we will ask only for what is proportionate.
What happens next
- We review your request and locate personal information we hold, such as support or privacy correspondence.
- We delete or correct the relevant information where applicable and take appropriate steps with service providers handling it on our behalf.
- We explain the outcome, including any information that must be retained for a legal obligation or legal claim, or that we cannot identify or access.
We respond without undue delay and within applicable data-protection time limits. If we need clarification or additional time permitted by law, we will explain why.
Remove data from your headset
CSMIC VR stores downloaded music and appearance preferences locally. The app does not require a CSMIC VR account or synchronize these files to an account operated by us.
- Where your headset provides a clear app data or clear storage control, use it to remove the app’s local files and preferences. This is different from clearing only the operating system’s temporary cache.
- Uninstalling the app normally removes its local installed data. Device or platform backups may retain or restore information separately, so review your headset’s backup settings if you also want to manage those copies.
We cannot remotely erase files on your headset through an email request. Local data removal can reset preferences and require music to be downloaded again. It does not delete your Meta account or other information held by Meta for its own services.
Technical delivery information
We have not enabled optional analytics or access logs for csmic.tech or the app’s music bucket. Hosting and content-delivery providers still process technical information, such as IP addresses and requested files, to deliver and secure their services.
If your request concerns that processing, contact us with enough context to understand it. We will explain the steps available to us, including any provider-held information we cannot identify or directly control. We do not promise that one request will erase every operational or legally required provider record.
Read the Privacy Policy for information about processing, providers, retention and your rights.
